The Moonpool is near the edge of Clan territory, though WindClan pride themselves in the landmark being closest to them. It is a silvery pool of water that doesn't freeze over. It sits in a stone hollow. Water pours over an overhanging ledge, filling the pool. A stream runs from the Moonpool to the lake, marking the boundary between ThunderClan and WindClan. A narrow hillside path leads up to the pool, where medicine cats meet with StarClan every half moon.

The lake is the very heart to the Clans- it sits in the center of the territories and holds the Gathering island as well as RiverClan fish, and drinking water for all of the Clans. The lake freezes in leafbare, making it fun to play on, though you should be careful- cats have fallen through and died in the icy water. The lake's shore is neutral territory as far as two tail lengths onto solid ground, and the water itself belongs to everyone equally.

In the heart of ThunderClan territory, beside an unused Twoleg path, there is an abandoned Twoleg nest. Its roof is worn away and the weather has destroyed most of it, though the walls are sturdy and block out most drafts. In difficult situations, the abandoned Twoleg place makes a good shelter, and its several rooms are riddled with cracks where prey take shelter. Valuable herbs such as catmint and thyme can be found in patches near the sides of the worn down nest.

The forest making up ThunderClan territory is large, and it fills all the space between the borders and the lake. It's made up of various types of deciduous trees, perfect for climbing, with pine trees starting to grow closer to the ShadowClan border. The trees are packed closely together with various shrubs and plants in between them. Prey such as mice, rabbits, voles, and birds find their homes in here. ThunderClan cats are well adapted to this environment, and the thick undergrowth suits them well.

Also known as the Sky Oak, this tree is giant, and as its name suggests, old. Apprentices often practice their climbing here, though they need to be careful, because the branches are brittle and might snap under heavy weight. Prey such as squirrels or birds can be found here, though the tree is so tall that catching them without being noticed as you climb is quite the challenge. The Ancient Oak is within a few fox lengths of the lake, making it an ideal place to relax and get a drink or two of fresh water.

The river branching from the lake through RiverClan territory runs downstream past the RiverClan camp. If you travel upstream, towards the lake, you can find many different types of prey: fish, voles, and the occasional mouse. Even further upstream, prey is plentiful, especially during Newleaf. Anything from plump fish to fat, overgrown water voles can be found here, and the lake is nearby as well. The scenery is beautiful, and the swimming is great- that is, if you're a RiverClan cat.

Due to the constant flow of water, RiverClan territory is very rarely dry. Water seeps through the ground and wets the paws of every cat, from old to young. No one really minds, though. RiverClan cats like to hunt along the wet, marshy grounds taking up the space between their camp and the Greenleaf Twolegplace. Hunting is good, though the fish tend to stay in the rivers and lake.

The rapids are dangerous, even for the most skilled swimmers in the Clan. They are a series of waterfalls, all bunched together and starting near the edge of the island. The water is fast, deep, and hard to navigate. Fish are plentiful here, though, and water voles spend their time near the edges of the rapids. Because of this, some cats take the risk and hunt here anyways. The areas surrounding the waterfalls are also very scenic, and it's a romantic spot to take your mate once in a while. As long as you watch your pawsteps, you should be okay.

WindClan territory is mostly made up of large expanses of moor and hillsides. From the Twolegplace to the ThunderClan border, valleys and hills make up this grassy territory, with almost no trees or bushes in between. The closest thing to shelter is the occasional abandoned badger set or rabbit burrow, though WindClan cats don't mind being exposed to the open sky. Rabbits are plentiful along the moor, and even field mice are easy to find.

WindClan cats have grown up closest to Twolegs, so they are used to the small Twolegplace separating them from RiverClan. Only a few nests make up this place, and there are fenced in fields beside them with barns, horses, sheep, and the occasional dog roaming in them. Horseplace is located just beside this small Twolegplace. WindClan cats stay clear of here, unless to sneak around the edges of the Twoleg nests looking for mice.

Near the small Twolegplace, the ground flattens and gives way to a small stretch of plains between WindClan and RiverClan territory. Over the lake sits a broken, worn down halfbridge similar to the one on RiverClan territory. While it isn't safe for Twolegs to use, cats are able to maneuver the halfbridge easily and it's a pretty scenic spot to watch the sunrise or sunset, though there's plenty of mice here as well. As long as you steer clear of the Twolegs in the Twoleg nests, you should be safe.

The coniferous forest making up ShadowClan's territory isn't as tightly packed as Thunderclan, though the branches of each pine tree help block the brightest sunlight from reaching the forest floor. Toads, lizards, mice, and the occasional rat roam the forest- and despite the other Clans reactions to this diet, ShadowClan love the prey they survive on. The forest is harder to navigate then the varying trees that make up ThunderClan or the wet plains that form RiverClan, but to the cats that live here it's home, and they wouldn't have it any other way.

Near the back of ShadowClan territory sits a Twoleg nest. The Twoleg here is pretty tame, and rarely ventures into ShadowClan territory, though cats should avoid him all the same. The Twoleg owns two hostile kittypets that know how to fight, and have caused serious injury among Clan cats. It's well known that they've killed a ShadowClan apprentice, so even the strongest of warriors tend to avoid the nest, unless in a large patrol. There's safety in numbers, they say.

On one side of ShadowClan territory sits the Greenleaf Twoleg Place, the border with RiverClan marked by a thunderpath that's often traveled by Twolegs, especially during the warmer times of year. On the other side is the clearing with a stream through the middle that is shared with ThunderClan. The two Clans constantly argue about it, though the inter-Clan skirmishes aren't unusual. On both borders, Twolegs like to set up 'tents' during Greenleaf and stay for a few days with their kits, making ShadowClan much closer to Twolegs than it's used to.
